Southlake Regional Health Centre Foundation

Are you looking for a way to make a meaningful impact close to home?
A way to be engaged and mentored in philanthropy?
A way to engage with other women in your community?

Ladies in Philanthropy for Southlake (LiPS) is an incredible opportunity to do all three! Join our growing group of women philanthropists through an annual donation of $1000 and get involved in supporting the care and well-being of our community while building your social network.

Your contributions make a difference! Our members have raised over $700,000 to-date in support of programs across our hospital!

The benefits of your LiPS donation include:
  • A charitable receipt for the full amount of your donation
  • Opportunity to meet and engage with women who share a passion for making change
  • A chance to determine where your collective contributions will be allocated at an annual voting meeting where Southlake clinical program teams personally present their best case for support

Impact at Southlake Health

“The new dedicated C-arm will minimize delays and disruptions by empowering me and my fellow physicians with easily accessible equipment to deliver timely emergency care. Delays due to a lack of a dedicated C-arm can mean the difference between life and death or saving a limb. Thanks to your support, we’ll be able to use the C-arm to perform over 100 procedures a year, saving lives, preventing limb loss, and improving quality of life for our patients.”

Dr. Lukasz Boba, Head of the Division of Vascular Surgery at Southlake.

“It is inspiring to see what Southlake’s donors, particularly the Ladies in Philanthropy for Southlake, have made possible. This community of women have supported my colleagues and I in ensuring other women across our region and beyond have access to this game-changing surgical cancer treatment. Together, we’re improving clinical efficiency, program capacity and patient experience, and that’s something everyone who has been part of making MOLLI 2 a reality at Southlake can be proud of.”

Puneet Sandhu, Director of Surgery and Maternal Child Programs at Southlake.
