I’m participating in the Run for Southlake because the nurses and doctors at the hospital saved my life.  

When I was born, I came 8 weeks early and my lungs weren't ready to breathe by themselves.  I needed a lot of help to breathe and I had to stay there for 26 days.  I had to wear a special mask with air tubes and sleep in a special bed that kept me warm all the time.  I am 5 years old now and am the tallest in my whole class.  

I’m fundraising because I want to help other babies that need help when they are born.  The doctors and nurses can save them too.
