I am doing the Run for Southlake because I want to raise money for the hospital because I was born there and had a bit of trouble breathing. The doctors and nurses took good care of me for 4 days and then I got to come home to be with my parents and big brother.
My younger twin brothers were born there too. But they had a lot of trouble breathing because they were born too soon and their lungs weren't ready for breathing yet. My little brothers were at Southlake for 26 days in a special place called the NICU; for babies who are too small or sick. All of the people that work in the NICU helped my brothers get stronger so that they could come home and be in our family.
I’m fundraising because I want to help other children and babies be with their families and be healthy.
