BE A HERO
This September, I’m proud to take part in the Be A Hero Head Shave in support of pediatric oncology at Southlake Regional Health Centre.
On Saturday, September 20 at 11:00 a.m. at Upper Canada Mall, I will be shaving my head along side members of York Regional Police, to raise awareness and funds for children battling cancer.
This year’s Child Ambassador is to Alice, daughter of Jacquie, a serving member with South Simcoe Police. Alice is a brave 7-year-old who is heading into Grade 2 and also a cancer survivor of Hodgkin’s lymphoma. Throughout her journey, she received incredible care and support at Southlake’s POGO Clinic, where children and families can access world-class cancer treatment close to home.
The POGO Clinic at Southlake Hospital ensures that children like Alice don’t have to travel far during the most difficult times—they can get the lifesaving treatment they need right here in our community.
Please donate as every donation makes a difference, and together we can bring hope, strength, and healing to children like Alice.
