Please take a moment to learn about my mother’s story and to educate yourself on Adenoid Cystic Carcinoma (ACC) — the rare and aggressive disease that took her life.

I, Rocky Antoine Jr., am creating this donation page to raise funds for the Southlake Regional Cancer Centre, where my mother received much of her care and treatment.

My mother, Mary Ann Antoine, passed away on October 22, 2025, at the age of 70, after a courageous battle with ACC. She faced every challenge with strength, love, and grace. Mary Ann was a devoted wife to Rocky Sr., a loving mother to Jennifer, Julie, and Rocky Jr., and a proud grandmother to ten grandchildren — Adrienne, Michael, Robert, Ava, Mya, Matthew, Daniel, Rocky, Adeline, and Lilah. She loved life deeply and gave it her all right until the very end.

What began as a small lump in her throat slowly grew and spread to her lungs, resulting in multiple nodules. Adenoid Cystic Carcinoma is extremely rare, accounting for only 0.04% to 0.2% of all primary lung cancers.
